I pull my battery when we store the unit. We bring it home and have it sit on a battery tender. Minor inconvenience, but we never have a dead battery when we are ready to go.

On really warm evenings, we have also found that closing the patio is less than a 5 minute job. Either way you are good to go :)

We have a similar rig and love it. My only concern with that rig would be the garage size. I would just make sure that 11 is plenty for whatever you would be hauling.

The battery compartment on the 390 can only hold a single 12 volt battery. The box just fits the single battery. I would measure it if I was heading to the unit today.
