I beleive Mike Thompson has the abilty to give you the best deal on a new RV...compaired to the smaller local dealers. I'm shopping for Motorhomes and they beat the dealers around here my $10k.

Sorry Bluedog, Dosnt matter if the tires were made last week....They are Towmax and need to be replaced before your first trip. Go with Maxxis or a quality LT tire.

I raised mine 2" with axle blocks, they go under...

I raised mine 2" with axle blocks, they go under the spring pack on top of the axle purch.. You will also need 8 longer u-bolts. It's about a 2 hour job one wheel at a time.

IMO That is too much for a 1/2 ton pu. I've towed that about with a 1/2 ton and it wasnt fun. (32' long, near 8000 lbs) It's just right for a 3/4 ton F-250.

You might be correct, If you have 2 seperate main 3" drains that method may not work. Adding a main shut valve on the correct outlet could give you more gray water gpm.

2"-3" forward of the rear axle is a good distance for your pin. I'd first look at "too light of pin weight" for you chucking issues. (assuming your truck and RV are level).
