During heat of the day down at Myrtle Beach the 2nd bedroom 13500 has made huge difference. We also use a portable unit in the SRX garage, again, huge benefit.

Solar and Generator

I keep our 18W panel connected while on shore power, no different than generator, no problem. The charge controller and onboard converter regulate just fine.

Yes, this setup which we will work with this year has 480 RC. I will be very careful and only use 50-75%, then recharge. We are willing to go with less AH than the 6V series connection golf cart...

It was a couple of years ago, however I'm positive it was Fastec that I ordered extra keys for both front and rear doors in our SRX, they work perfectly.

Exhaust

Never had a problem with the exhaust, if running the generator in the truck, it points directly to the v tailgate, never had any alarm issues in the unit while running.
