Is A slide 5th wheel hitch needed

I just bought a 2014 F350 with 6.5 foot box, I have a 2014 Cougar 320 QBS, my question is do I need a sliding hitch? will the front cap hit truck when backing up on sharp turns

What do mean with I think you should recheck the hitch, it should be rated at 10,000lbs or more

Max trailer weight is 14,700 lbs while gross combined is 22,000lbs
