EZ Lube caps

I have a 300MP raptor and noticed that the cap came off and is loose inside my wheel cover. I just had these greased at the dealer and noticed that they replaced this one cap - Do I need to take the wheel off to put the cap back on or is it supposed to just snap back on?

If you're talking about the rubber ezlube caps... they press back in. I replaced them in my old camper that was only 4 years old... they had become very cracked.
