If you will provide us with some more information about your Stereo/DVD player, we might be able to help you. What make is it? Jensen or ???? Do the other features work.....radio? CD's? It may be as simple as making sure your TV is the correct mode to accept video format. Depending on the make, your TV will have several input options to choose from - "video" is usually one of them, "component (no.)" may be another and so on. Your TV manual should explain what input setting you should set your TV on to receive DVD's.

I have the Jensen AWM950 in my trailer which was an upgrade and I had to run a seperate cable from the unit to the tv (red, white, & yellow) for the DVD player to work, it plugs into the tv on the video input jacks and provides picture and sound, my tv has to be on one of the aux input channels though.
