2004 Springdale 5th Wheel

We have a 2004 Springdale 5th wheel and as we were going down the highway the left side started coming off and the insulation started coming out. When we contacted Keystone they said that it was something that we done wrong. But the thing is that we had just checked all of the chalking the day before we left and it was all ok. So we have been fighting them for the last 4 yrs and they still refuse to do anything about it.
Has anyone else had any of these problems and if so what did you do?

Welcome to the forum.
It would appear that, at the time this incident occurred, your '04 Springdale would have been well out-of-warranty which is probably the reason why Keystone would have "refused to do anything about it".

If this mishap took place 4 years ago, that would have made it 2010 and your unit is a 2004, your Springdale was about 5 years beyond the time when the warranty expired. It's not likely that Keystone would agree to do anything for you after that length of time.

Festus2 is right, in the fact that even if the problem occurred 4 years ago your '04 unit would be well out of warranty.

With that in mind, are you wanting to know what options you have for repair? Any repair cost is going to be your responsibility, maybe contact your insurance carrier and see if by any chance your covered for the damage, can't hurt to ask as all they can say is no.

When I have had ANYTHING years from being in warrenty. I repaired the problem or paid to have the problem fixed including RVs. Sounds like fighting with keystone for 4 years has not resulted in the problem being fixed. Hire a lawyer and let them explain what options you have.
