To Cover Or Not To Cover

I have a Passport 2890RL and as the Wisconsin winter rapidly approaches I am curious as to the opinions regarding use of RV covers. Good, bad, indifferent? Thanks.

There is a thread on this exact topic ("Breathable 5th wheel cover for winter" --5th wheel forum) currently running on the forum. The "other" thread has had a number of replies so you might want to hop over to that forum and take a look at the responses to this same question there.

Some do, some don't. I don't but I will be cleaning the roof some in the spring. If I was under pine trees I probably would.

I have covered every trailer I have had during the winter here in SE WI. If you get a well fitted , breathable cover I think it saves the trailer from a lot of punishment when not in use.

My plan next year, when DW is retired, is to cover it in Arizona Sunshine!!
