Lightbulb Any Propane Professional's?

Do we have any propane professionals among our members? Here's my issue. I have one of my 30 Lb. LP Tanks that works fine for about a week after I fill it then it registers empty on my tank switch over valve. The tank feels like it's still half full when I take it out of the compartment. I turn on my other tank it works fine. Can anyone tell me why this is? To much liquid in the tank, new fangled shut off valve malfunctioning? Any thoughts????

Swap the positions of the tanks and see if the problem goes with the tank or it stays on the same side. It has to be a bad OPD valve(unlikely, a pigtail(they have a check valve that can stick), or the regulator.
