Sloppy Entry Grab Bar

The grab bar used when climbing th outside steps into the trailer is very sloppy. I've exposed the mounting screws and they are tight. It's the mechanism that has the pins at the top that drop down into the mount that appears to be the issue. I doubt this can be tightened but just wanted to check before replacing the whole thing.

Or, is this normal as I was told by my dealership when I brought it up.

There is some inherent play, if your trailer is new it should be minimal. There isn’t any adjustment to remove the slop.
