Low Batteries After Storage

I keep my 2016 Toy Hauler winterized in the shop during Winter, plugged into "shore" power to maintain the batteries. Getting ready for a trip today, I found the batteries at 5 volts. Obviously, they didn't maintain over the past months. The factory (push/pull) switch was in the off position. My question; Does the converter maintain a battery charge when this switch is off? Or is the switch position irrelevant and I have another issue?

I don't know the answer but a true battery disconnect would disconnect the batteries and only allow possibly solar to bypass imo.

THe converter can't charge the batteries if the switch is disconnected (you can remove the red key).
