Thanks for the in-depth post, SargeW. I've been considering this system.

I think it's well worth it. Especially when boon docking. But actually I used it pretty much this weekend. Even though we were at a full service park I knew the black was getting full and I had closed the grey water tank to flush with. I was able to tell the DW that the grey tank was at 92% so she wouldn't leave water running. I was dumping in a few hours and heading home, so I like to get everything flushed out before leaving the campground if possible.

did you just use the sensor adhesive to attach them or did you add adhesive to them? I have to add them to my camper as there is no tank monitors at all so I have to get out there and measure the tank heights and get something ordered.

There is an adhesive on the sensor strips already. Super sticky, so make sure of the placement before applying them. The suggested method is to tape them in place with painters blue tape first to check the function of the strip, then stick them on after you are sure they are reading through the tank wall.
