Question Slider Hitch Question

I have a short bed Dodge with a standard hitch. Will I need to add a slider to manouver a Loredo 29 into tight spots?

hitch

a slider isn't going to give you all kinds of extra turning abilities. a good set of mirrors and extra set of eyes with a loud voice will do you a lot better. And if it's tight slow it down. You have to back it up all the time, but only have to damage it once. Question is ,which will you remember the most? One last thing if you are really bad at backing and have extra time on your hands have a ball installed on the front for long pushes this works out well. we push out airplanes like this all the time and you do have a lot of control.

I now have a long bed so have no problem, however, I pulled a 27 ft fiver over 50,000 mi with a short bed Ford with no problems. Just be carefull, and use a sharp eyed spotter when backing and be alert if you have to make an unusually sharp turn moving forward.

Get a Pullrite and forget your worries. I can get 90 degrees with my Dodge Megacab.

I just got my new 302 Fuzion. I have a 2006 Chev Duramax and a slider hitch. I had to slide it back to back into my garage, a tight fit, but it worked fine after I slid it back
