Contacting Keystone???

Exactly one week ago yesterday I emailed Keystone via their website and asked them the following questions in regard to their model 314RE Laredo Trailer:
1- What is the axle rating?
2- What is the frame size?
3- Who's suspension system are they using?
4- What type of material is in their wall insulation?
5- And do they really connect the front 2nd Air Conditioner into the existing roof duct work??

As of today I haven't heard a PEEP out of Keystone.

So as of today we are now looking at the 2015 Enterra 316RKS made by Cruiser RV.
We'll see what happens...................

Bill -
A visit to Keystone's website revealed the following:
1) PACO I Beam Powder-Coated Frame
2) R-9 insulation in walls and R-11 in ceiling. Wall construction/insulation looks very similar to the typical RV "sandwich" format --- luan + rigid Styrofoam + luan
3) EZ Lube axles - no rating listed
4) EquaFlex Suspension ---
5) 15K BTU A/C ducted main and optional 13.5 BTU 2nd Bedroom A/C - not ducted.

I realize that this information doesn't fully answer your questions, it does give you a bit more to go on. You should note that features described and shown on their website isn't always what turns up in the unit you ordered. Keystone does "reserve the right to make last-minutes changes".... it's their way to PTA.

What did the dealer say when you asked these questions. Did they know any answered, did they offer to get them for you?

I believe the last time I used the "contact us" part of the Keystone RV Customer Service website, after I sent the message, there was a disclaimer that said something like: "Your message has been received, please allow 7-10 business days for processing"

I'd think if you sent a message a week ago, that's only 5 business days and you're not yet in the "window" timewise.

Hopefully you'll get a response in the next few days.

Actually, any dealership "should" have this information. The key is finding someone in sales who actually knows something about the product other than the "minimum sales price" and the "color scheme options"......

X2 on what John said^^^
If you physically locate the trailer you can look under it and the axles will have a paper tag on them stating their rating. If it is an important issue, I would rather believe what I see with my own eyes instead of what a salesperson pulls out of the air.

I think you can find the axel info on the axel, around the middle there is a plate with the information.

Is your main reason for looking for a new RV based on Keystone not responding? If so I would send Cruiser RV an email with the same questions and test their response, make sure your getting an improvement. I do not think you will find many here who will go to the extra am defending keystones corporate customer friendliness lol. Cruiser RV is a much smaller outfit and sometimes those can be the best.
