Older Everest Thermostat replacement

I replaced my dial thermostat when it went out with a digital
RV Comfort Colman mach thermostat for AC/Heat

Well a newer model of that is very very high in price.

Any suggestions what could be used in place of it. This one has gone wonky (I need to tap it, think the relay going bad)
and I need to fix it.

thanks

PS this is the one I have.

Well here is a link to how it is done and they do work, as mine has been this way for about 12 years.

I should have been more clear any battery powered thermostat will work. As long as it is battery powered doesn’t care what kind of low voltage it is switching.
