Dometic 310 toilet issue

Our Dometic 310 toilet is loose where the top and bottom comes together. From the manual and looking online it seems there is nothing I can do to fix the problem. Thought I would ask here before giving up. It does not leak there yet so no need to replace immediately if there really is no fix. Also, if it is not repairable any suggestions for a replacement. I really like this model, but not being able to repair makes me think twice about installing another.

There probably isn't any reference in any end user documentation as that's not considered a maintenance type of repair.

I would take the toilet out and then take it outside, turn it upside down and see what type of fasteners hold the two halfs together.

I have removed lots of toilets, but I can't say I've paid attention to what holds them together. You may need a new seal on the floor flange when you reinstall.

There have been a couple of members who have separated the two halves of the toilet and put them back together. If you do a search for "DOMETIC TOILET" or "TOILET" you will come up with lots of stuff to sort through.

Here is one that mentions the two halves and how they are held together. Look at post #3 in this thread: http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/sho...ht=toilet+leak

Good Luck.
